Full Bio

Kenneth Esquilin is a Hispanic-American composer and multi-instrumentalist musician. He was born on November 23, 2005, in Bethesda, Maryland, and currently resides near San Antonio, Texas.

Kenneth is best known as a musician for his piano proficiency and more notably, the Viola. He started playing the piano at age 3, specializing in improvisation, which has sparked his passion for performing ever since. He later began playing the Viola at age 11 and has performed various solo works and in academic and youth orchestras, as well as chamber ensembles.

Kenneth first started learning to compose music at age 16. He creates music for solo instruments, chamber, and concert ensembles, as well as arrangements of other existing works. Additionally, he’s interested in exploring music for all types of mediums, including dance, theatre, and media.

Outside of writing and listening to music, as well as playing instruments, Kenneth enjoys swimming, watching movies and TV, playing video games, and spending time with his loved ones.

Kenneth is currently a student at Texas State University as a Music Studies (Education) major and a Music Composition minor. He is also a registered member of ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) under his signature publishing name “OpenWindow Publications.” Kenneth has an ultimate life goal of writing a library of imaginative and masterful musical selections enjoyed by many.
